On Tuesday Night members from Station 84 joined Station 62 at the Camden County Regional Emergency Training Center. Crews participated in evolutions in pulling attack lines, securing a water supply, and searching a structure - All of the important key things of a fireground operation.
Tuesday Night Training 4/17/18
On Tuesday night members took their time to train on the pre-connect 5" supply lines. Crews reviewed how to properly deploy, and pack each section of supply line. This is just one of many skills that firefighters need to know how to do fast and efficient to extinguish a fire.
Sunday Pump Operator Training
On Sunday afternoon members took time to work on some pump operator training in the process for becoming a driver on both engines. The training consisted of establshing a water supply, operating multiple hanlines, master streams, and monitoring pressures. Photos courtesy of Captain Dunlap.
Engine & Ladder respond to Easter Morning Dwelling
At approximately 0211 hours Taskforce 821 was dispatched to the 1700 block of Hollywood Drive for a reported dwelling fire. While responding 8201 (Chief Milisky) was notified of multiple calls for a house with heavy fire throughout. 8201 arrived and confirmed the report, Ladder 84 and Engine 842 made a response. Engine 842 stretched a handline to the house. Ladder 84 performed venlation. The Fire was placed under control approximately 90 minutes later. Pictures and Video credit to Nick Martin

Sunday Duty Crew Rescue Training
On Sunday morning members gathered for a duty crew and participated in rescue company training. The training was both a skills practice and an opportunity for two members to become qualified drivers on the apparatus.

Reported Apartment Fire
On 1/19/18 Station 84 responded to Autumn Ridge Apartments for a reported apartment fire. FM 84 and Ladder 84 arrived to find careless cooking and the assignment was recalled.
Rescue responds as 2nd RIC to Philly Diner
On 1/13/18 Rescue 84 was dispatched as a 2nd RIC to the Philly Diner in Runnemede for a working building fire. Rescue 84 responded with 6 crew members. Upon arrival the officer (Captain Dunlap) advised command of their arrival. Rescue 84 service was not needed and they were released from the fire ground.
Rescue Responds as RIC to Glendora Dwelling
On 1/6/18 Rescue 84 was dispatched as the Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) on a dwelling fire in Glendora. Rescue 84 responded with 4 along with 8402 (Asst. Chief Imielinski). The fire was contained to the basement and the crew was released soon after.
